Among the main updates are revisions to the <strong>Transition 4.0 and 5.0 Plans<\/strong>, designed to foster the digital and energy transformation of businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the eligible costs for obtaining benefits and incentives, expenses for consulting services aimed at supporting companies in their digital and sustainable transformation journey are confirmed again this year.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year as well, eligible costs for accessing dedicated benefits and incentives include expenses for consulting services that support companies in their digital and sustainable transformation journey.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\u2019s new in Transition 4.0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cap of \u20ac2.2 billion for tangible fixed assets<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new regulation, set out in the 2025 Budget Law, establishes a maximum cap of <strong>\u20ac2.2 billion<\/strong> for investments in tangible fixed assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Validity:<\/strong> tax credit available for investments made until <strong>December 31, 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Extension:<\/strong> available until <strong>June 30, 2026<\/strong> for orders with a 20% down payment made by <strong>December 31, 2025.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Simplified procedures:<\/strong> from <strong>May 18, 2024,<\/strong> applications must be submitted through the GSE portal with new streamlined features.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Resource management:<\/strong> applications are processed in chronological order until funds are exhausted. Investments already booked before the law\u2019s publication are not subject to the cap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Exclusion of 4.0 software from incentives<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the 2025 Budget Law, starting in January the 10% tax credit for 4.0 software (intangible assets listed in Annex B of Law 232\/2016) has been eliminated, marking a significant change for those investing in digitalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Changes to the Transition 5.0 Plan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Enhanced rates for investments<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plan redefines investment brackets and introduces higher rates:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Up to \u20ac10 million:<\/strong> rate increased to <strong>45%<\/strong> for projects achieving significant reductions in energy consumption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From \u20ac10 to \u20ac50 million:<\/strong> rate increased to <strong>15%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The changes are retroactive to <strong>January 1, 2024<\/strong>, subject to the availability of <strong>NRRP funds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cumulo con altre agevolazioni<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 5.0 tax credit can now be combined with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tax credits for investments in the <strong>Southern Italy Single SEZ<\/strong> and <strong>in the ZLS.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EU incentives, provided they do not overlap on the same cost items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ban on combining with the 4.0 tax credit on the same eligible costs remains in place.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Simplifications for energy savings<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2025 Budget Law introduced new measures to encourage energy savings:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Replacement of obsolete machinery:<\/strong> application of a flat 35% rate for investments up to \u20ac10 million.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Projects with ESCO:<\/strong> energy performance contracts automatically validate energy savings reduction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Automatic efficiency:<\/strong> for replacement machinery fully depreciated for at least 24 months, an automatic reduction of <strong>3%<\/strong> is applied for production units and<strong> 5%<\/strong> for processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How can you take advantage of this opportunity?<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quin, a strategic and operational consulting firm offering technological solutions in Operations &amp; Supply Chain Management and Business Performance Management, is the <strong>partner to guide your company on its digital and sustainable transformation journey,<\/strong> also <strong>leveraging the incentives and benefits provided by the 2025 Budget Law and the many initiatives of the NRRP.<\/strong><br>Our people-, process-, and technology-oriented approach drives us to support companies through every stage of their path to excellence: from needs assessment to strategy definition, all the way to implementing the most advanced technologies and carrying out organizational change.
