It supports projects aimed at raising the Technology Readiness Level (TRL), <strong>starting from a minimum level of 4 up to TRL 6, 7, or 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p data-start=\"72\" data-end=\"222\">The total budget amounts to <strong>3 million euros<\/strong>, with non-repayable grants allocated to initiatives capable of generating tangible value for the region.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who can apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call is open to entities aiming to carry out innovative projects, including those focused on <strong>agri-food research contributions.<\/strong> Specifically, it targets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Companies<\/strong> of any size, including <strong>innovative start-ups and spin-offs<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Universities<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research organizations,<\/strong> public or private<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All entities with a registered <strong>office or operational unit in Friuli Venezia Giulia<\/strong> are eligible to apply. Organizations with their legal or operational headquarters outside the region are also admitted, provided they <strong>commit to establishing an operational unit in FVG before the project begins.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p data-start=\"68\" data-end=\"218\">Each applicant may submit <strong>only one application per window. If the proposal is not admitted, it cannot be resubmitted during the same opening period.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which projects are eligible?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FVG call is intended for projects aimed at <strong>validating innovative ideas<\/strong> and technologies by<strong> increasing their Technology Readiness Level (TRL).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be eligible, projects must<strong> start from a minimum TRL of 4 and reach TRL 6, 7, or 8.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the target TRL to be reached, the nature of the project activity also varies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For reaching <strong>TRL 6<\/strong> \u2192 the project activity must consist of <strong>industrial research<\/strong> (validation in a relevant environment).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For reaching <strong>TRL 7 and 8<\/strong> \u2192 the project activity must consist of <strong>experimental development<\/strong> (demonstration in an operational environment and complete system).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p data-start=\"68\" data-end=\"275\">The maximum duration ranges from <strong>6 to 24 months,<\/strong> depending on the target TRL. Projects must align with one of the trajectories of the <em data-start=\"202\" data-end=\"256\">\u201cHealth, Quality of Life, Agri-food, and Bioeconomy\u201d<\/em> area, including:<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nutraceuticals and functional foods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solutions for sustainable agriculture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovation in agri-food processes and products<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contribution intensity: differences between applicants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The maximum grant amount varies depending on the target TRL (up to \u20ac500,000).
