Trieste, January 20, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Friulia announced today that it has acquired a stake in Quin, an Italian group providing strategic and execution-focused consulting and technology solutions for industrial companies. The investment supports Quin\u2019s medium- to long-term growth plan, aimed at advancing industrial consolidation and strengthening the Group\u2019s competitive positioning.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Friulia\u2019s entry is part of a broader development path intended to reinforce Quin\u2019s capital base and support its strategic evolution, while preserving the entrepreneurial approach that has guided the Group since its inception.<\/p>\n\n

The transaction also confirms the central role of Quin\u2019s co-founders, Fabio Valgimigli and Germano Fogolin, who retain firm and direct governance of the Group\u2019s companies. The new ownership structure pairs the founders\u2019 leadership with a local institutional partner to support future development initiatives focused on expanding Quin\u2019s presence in Italy and internationally, while maintaining strong roots in Friuli Venezia Giulia, which remains the Group\u2019s strategic, managerial, and decision-making hub.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

As part of the transaction, Equinox and entrepreneur Stefano Bertoli have completed their investment in Quin. Over the years, Equinox supported a significant phase of the company\u2019s growth, contributing to the Group\u2019s industrial and organizational expansion, including Quin\u2019s 2022 acquisition of 100% of QGS, now an integral part of the Quin Group. The exit reflects the natural evolution of the investment following the completion of a value creation journey.<\/p>\n\n

Andrea Bovone, Partner at Equinox, and entrepreneur Stefano Bertoli commented: \u201cWe are very pleased with the growth Quin has achieved over the past years. The Quin Group is among Italy\u2019s leading players in its segment and currently includes approximately 140 employees and collaborators, four offices in Italy (Udine, Milan, Cesena, and Florence), and total revenues of \u20ac17 million.<\/p><\/p>\n\n

Founded in 2011, Quin works alongside industrial companies on organizational, digital, and technological innovation initiatives, through an integrated approach that combines consulting expertise, advanced software solutions, and data analytics and decision intelligence systems.<\/p>\n\n

Quin was advised on the transaction by MPRD & Partners (Udine) as financial advisor, with a team including Managing Partner Marco Pezzetta, Partner Marco Kraner, and Associate Simone De Angelis.
