Quin has become a sponsor of ASD Libertas Ceresetto, a cycling club based in Friuli that has been promoting the sport for over 50 years and supporting children and young athletes in their personal and competitive development.
The partnership reflects our commitment to supporting an organization deeply rooted in the local community, one that brings together sports, education, and a strong sense of community. Over the years, this initiative has engaged hundreds of young people, teaching them not only the skills and rules of cycling, but also values such as fairness, integrity, respect for competitors, commitment, and teamwork.
Libertas Ceresetto: more than fifthy years of history
Founded in 1963, ASD Libertas Ceresetto has spanned several generations of cycling in Friuli, steadily strengthening its presence in youth and competitive cycling.
Its history includes numerous regional, national, and international achievements: from Ivan Franz’s World Military Track Cycling Championship title in the 1980s to podium finishes at the Italian National Championships, from selections for the Italian national team to winning the Italian team pursuit title in the Allievi category in 2011.
Through its CONI-recognized Sports Training Center and cycling school, the club gives children and young people the opportunity to discover the sport in a gradual and safe environment. The consistency and quality of Libertas Ceresetto’s youth development program are reflected in the number of athletes who have gone on to compete professionally after being supported throughout their journey toward high-level competition.
The International Cycling Tour of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region
The partnership will also see Quin as a sponsor of the 2026 edition of the International Cycling Tour of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region for Elite and Under-23 riders, organized and coordinated by the club.
Each year, the event takes place across different areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, passing through towns such as Palazzolo dello Stella, San Giorgio di Nogaro, Ampezzo, Sauris, Codroipo, San Daniele del Friuli, Sacile, and Gorizia. The Tour attracts some of the world’s most promising emerging cycling talents and involves hundreds of people including organizers, volunteers, local authorities, and Civil Protection teams, confirming its importance for the region.
Also known as “the race of stars,” the competition covers 626 kilometers with 5,620 meters of elevation gain, providing a demanding test for young athletes, as well as a valuable opportunity to develop their skills and potentially take the next step toward a professional career.
