The TOP 500 special issue by Nord Est Economia—the business magazine of the NEM Group—has been released. Each year, it highlights the strength and evolution of the Northeastern Italian economy through data, leading figures, and stories from the region’s most dynamic companies.

The 2025 edition kicked off in Udine, the first of seven events scheduled across Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto—Belluno, Trieste, Treviso, Padova, Pordenone, and Venice—making up the series. The opening event, held on November 10 at PMP Industries’ headquarters in Coseano (UD), brought together local entrepreneurs and executives to discuss “Redesigning the Future – Companies in the AI Revolution,” this year’s central theme.

Within the TOP 500 special, an article dedicated to the Quin Group illustrates how the company has combined strategic consulting, process excellence, and technology in an integrated model designed to foster growth for manufacturing businesses. From the establishment of QGS as the Group’s technological competence center to a joint approach that integrates data, people, and technology, Quin supports companies in building measurable roadmaps based on analysis, methodology, and results.

As Fabio Valgimigli, CEO of Quin, points out, “Competitiveness today depends on the balance between vision and execution. It’s about integrating managerial expertise and digital solutions to respond quickly to market shifts, improving productivity and profitability.

The article focuses in particular on the evolution of industrial planning, now increasingly data-driven and powered by artificial intelligence. Predictive algorithms make it possible to anticipate demand, optimize margins, and dynamically manage market variables—turning planning into a true strategic lever for competitiveness. Yet, as Quin emphasizes, innovation is not only technological: it is also organizational and cultural, grounded in cross-functional collaboration and the ability to turn knowledge into faster, more informed decisions.

With its extensive experience in the industry, the Quin Group helps shape a future-oriented business model, where innovation, structure, and knowledge translate into measurable performance and lasting value for organizations.

The special issue also features the Calligaris project, developed in collaboration with Quin, as a tangible example of this vision. The company redefined its demand forecasting and planning processes by integrating analytics, collaboration, and advanced digital tools—enhancing its ability to anticipate trends and respond swiftly to market dynamics.

A journey also showcased in the video case study, which retraces the project’s key phases through the voices of its main players, demonstrating how digital transformation can generate tangible results across the entire manufacturing value chain.
