MES Consultant

The QUIN Group today has around 130 people across its offices in Udine (headquarters), Milan, Cesena, and Florence.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an MES Consultant with at least 1 year of experience in this role (or in similar positions).

The selected candidate will focus on analyzing and modeling manufacturing systems in areas such as production, internal logistics, quality, and energy sustainability. They will participate in projects involving production process review and the introduction of IT tools aimed at managing and controlling operations, as well as supporting factory digitalization.

Activities and responsibilities

  • Analysis of as-is processes within the execution domain
  • Analysis and translation of business requirements provided by clients into detailed specifications for IT/OT solution development or configuration
  • Testing and configuration of digital solutions within the supply chain governance domain
  • Project management activities and client relationship management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably in ICT, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Management)
  • At least 1 year of experience as an application consultant for supply chain governance solutions and/or IoT platforms; or experience within a company working on projects to introduce solutions supporting production control and/or factory digitalization
  • Willingness to travel frequently for short assignments
  • Strong interest in using IT tools and enthusiasm for adopting and implementing digital technologies

Additional knowledge in the following IT areas will be considered a plus: data modeling and management, knowledge of relational databases (experience with ER design tools and database query tools), and familiarity with IoT solutions.

Any certifications or additional knowledge in lean manufacturing, distribution logistics, supply chain management, or project management will also be considered a plus.
