In the April issue of Realtà Industriale, Confindustria Udine’s magazine dedicated to business and industry, Quin contributes an article focusing on a critical topic for many manufacturing companies: planning.
Not as an abstract function to be managed, nor as an activity confined to spreadsheets, forecasts, and production sequences. The issue is much more practical. When priorities constantly shift, information is misaligned, and urgency becomes the basis for nearly every decision, planning loses its effectiveness and the company is forced into a reactive mode. This is where a significant part of operational excellence is determined: in the ability to establish order, make sound decisions, and maintain consistency between what is planned and what actually happens.
This is also the approach behind the project developed by Calligaris together with Quin: an initiative focused on planning processes, designed to make them more strategic and forward-looking while striking a far-from-simple balance between creativity, efficiency, and service quality. The people directly involved in the project share its objectives, key decisions, and results in a video case study, offering a firsthand look at the journey and the new opportunities it has created.
